Wire Wrap That's Quick And Easy To Use

I like the bright red color, makes them easy to locate in dark settings. It's so easy to wrap wires with this system. The elastic is quite durable, and the deployment method is intuitive. I've gone bonkers wrapping up all my random wires b/c it's so easy and creates order from chaos. If you've been in a band with lots of equipment and wires, you know that wires have a mind of their own. If you let them, they'll get out of control. THIS SYSTEM CONTROLS WIRES - full stop!

Pros
  • I use these to keep wires neat and organized. Good quality.
Cons
  • The straps are too bulky and cumbersome, making them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

Handy bit of kit: my feedback

When packing for a two week trip to the Southwest, I wanted to bring my camera, lenses, and computer. The Red Whips were very useful for keeping the myriad of cables organized and tangle-free. At one point I even used them to attach a tripod to my camera bag.

Pros
  • My fav! I own two sets and use them everywhere.
Cons
  • The bright red color may be unsuitable for certain types of photography, such as wildlife or nature photography where camouflaged gear is preferred

These are Great! for my opinion

I use these all the time on video shoots to keep cables secure or organized. That's my feedback! They are a great alternative to Bongo ties.

Pros
  • I love these things. I have bought 4 sets and they are everywhere!
Cons
  • Ok

Excellent. Your imagination is the only limit.

Such a simple concept, yet absolutely functional. I use these to tie up all my cables, plus a few more things. Your imagination is the only limit.

Pros
  • Where have these been? Could have used them years ago!!!
Cons
  • The red color may attract unwanted attention and potential theft or loss of the camera

Organization good for me

These "Red Whips" give me a sense of control with regard to my small camera and computer gear when I travel. Sounds silly, but if you are going halfway around the world it is comforting to see your "stuff" neatly organized and countable. You know what you've got, which helps alleviate the terror of arriving on another continent missing a cable.

Pros
  • Very handy product
Cons
  • The straps are not weather-resistant, making them vulnerable to damage in rain or other harsh weather conditions

Great product for my opinion

Bought these to replace my previous velcro straps, my backpacks have soft liners and the velcro straps would stick to them. They are a bit pricer than velcro versions but IMO I am glad i made the investment in these.

Pros
  • Very well made, versatile design. Very handy!
Cons
  • The straps may not be compatible with all types of camera bags, leading to awkward or uncomfortable carrying situations

Expensive for what they are, but likelyworth it

If you have extra time you can make these but if you’re too busy doing creative work I’d say it’s more than worth the money to just buy them already done. They are similarly good as bongo ties but I like them more because they are adjustable and more durable.

Pros
  • love it
Cons
  • The straps may be too rigid and inflexible for some users, limiting their range of motion and versatility

These things are awesome

These things are great, I just bought another pack of them. I wish they sold them in packs of 100! One suggestion, more colors to color code your stuff.

Pros
  • Worth the money, they work how they are supposed to and am very happy with the purchase
Cons
  • The branding on the straps is too prominent, making it difficult to use them discreetly in certain settings

Red Whips -- they're not just for cables any more.

Yes, these are officially for bundling gadget cables together -- but they're so much more useful than just that. And this package contains both "regular" and "long" red whips, so it's even more helpful in that sense.I also use red whips to.* Hold the segments of my hiking staff together, and lash it to my daypack* Bundle a rain layer together (regular red whip) and hold it onto a daypack (long)* Keep stuff together in my truck's center consoleI'm sure you can think of more…

Pros
  • Practical item for people who really like to keep wires and small items organized.
Cons
  • The straps may be too long for shorter individuals, causing them to drag on the ground or get caught on objects

These are so handy!

I use them for all sorts of things. Unlike a rubber band these last forever and are adjustable. I use them to hold something in place once I have applied glue, or to hold a stack of cards, keep cords tidy, This was the second set I ordered.

Pros
  • Most useful item in my camera bag. These whips are a must!
Cons
  • The metal clips and fasteners may scratch or damage camera bodies over time

Handy for securing any cords

These are perhaps the best, simplest devices for conveniently securing coils of cords of computers, extension cords, etc. Easily to tighten and easy to loosen. Red color makes them highly visible.

Pros
  • Using these cords to hold down gear. Great quality
Cons
  • The bright red color may clash with some camera bodies and outfits, making them an unappealing choice for fashion-conscious photographers

The handiest cable organizers

I got two of these with my thinktank organizer (which is great, my favorite over lowepro) Once I had two I had to get more. These are so simple and so wonderful. The small ones work with all types of cables and I use the large one to wrap power supply bricks with cables.

Pros
  • Brand: Think Tank
Cons
  • The straps may require frequent cleaning and maintenance to stay in good condition

Very useful for gear bag

Covid has made me even neater on location, and these looked very useful. I've been using Velcro cable ties for years, but they do get "sticky" in a bag. Useful addition to my gear bas, especially for temporarily tying cables.

Pros
  • This product does its job well.
Cons
  • The heavy-duty construction of the straps may not appeal to those seeking a more lightweight and minimalist camera strap
