Great gift - towing items and winches

I bought this by mistake I thought it was a 2" insert. But luckily my daughter-in-law needed it. So I pretended it was a gift. But the thing is holding up really well. And she seems to like it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not suitable! for towing products and winches

2nd failure! The replacement block tightened the clutch handle with a lock washer to make it impossible to use the 2" jack, which is what I needed. I can't believe how unreliable the Revain order has become.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

Didn't come with a needle.

This item clearly has a needle and clip in the photo and includes a '1/2 inch needle and clip' in the description. I received one without a pin (the clamp was attached to the hitch with a swivel cable tie).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Faulty

Good quality but too short for my hitch

The length was too short for my hitch which is set back a bit on my 2010 Subaru Outback. But it's my fault so it still gets 5 stars. I'm using it now on my 2008 Prius and it's perfect.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for senior

perfect for Class 2 hitch

I did a lot of testing before purchasing this kit which includes a hitch, 2" ball and locking pin. I also like the fact that you can change the orientation of the ball so the ball is 2 inches below or above the hitch. Note. If you decide to replace the ball you will need a large wrench as it is very tight (100 ft-lbs in my opinion). I used a long socket pin with a 28mm deep socket.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • No instructions

Perfect for class 2 towbar

Perfect for class 2 towbar on my Mercedes R350. The only thing I didn't like was the needle that came with it. Most clutch kits have a small hole drilled in the pin where a clip is placed to keep the pin from slipping. With this set, the pen has no hole for the clip, the clip just needs to be kept in place by friction, which will feel shaky. Otherwise, the price is high and it seems that it is made of high quality and durable material.

Pros
  • Exterior accessories
Cons
  • Some little things

Not compatible with my car receiver

I know it's probably a problem with the car receiver as I've had this problem before, but they put a stopper in the receiver so (probably their own) only a few Tow hitch receiver fit. It goes in, but the pin doesn't go in because it doesn't go deep enough. I have to cut it or grind the end so it goes in far enough to insert the pin. This will void the warranty and will likely make me more liable in the event of an accident. Why can't coupling manufacturers come together and make everything work

Pros
  • Ball joints
Cons
  • Minor issues
