Reese Towpower 74280 Class Coupler Review

Based on my experience with this coupler, I would not recommend it to anyone who values their safety while towing. The coupling mechanism on this product is poorly designed and doesn't hold up over time. I found myself stranded on the side of the road when the coupler failed and my load came loose. The only pro I can think of is the price, but it's not worth risking an automotive accident to save a few bucks. If you're looking for a reliable and safe coupler, look elsewhere.

THIS WAS AN ACCURATE CLUTCH REPLACEMENT AND FITS WELL AND WORKS PERFECTLY. The pivot lock assembly seems a little loose but works great. THANK YOU

Great hitch - good quality, nice finish and finish. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the tongue sticker which had to be removed prior to installation. The plastic-coated sticker was torn, leaving the goo on the tongue. Come on Reese - don't miss such a detail to leave me with a negative experience! I tried acetone, then finally turpentine to get the shit out. If you want to save a sticker on a product, at least indicate in the instructions how to remove it!
