🔧[FUNCTION] - The IPR valve is responsible for controlling the pressure in the high-pressure oil system, which in turn operates the injector. The ICP sensor is responsible for transmitting the signal to the PCM to tell the HPOP (high pressure oil pump) how much pressure to generate. If there is not enough pressure, the injector cannot ignite normally. 🔧[FAILURE PERFORMANCE] - 1. The engine is difficult to start or does not start at all (especially when the engine is cold); 2. The engine speed is unstable when idling, and the engine may even stall; 3. The engine consumes more fuel; 4. The exhaust emits black smoke; 5. Low fuel pressure; 6. Carbon deposits will form on the spark plug. 🔧[HOW TO CHECK] - With the engine off, remove the valve cover and connect the pressure gauge. Start the engine and read the fuel pressure at the intermediate position between the idle speed and the accelerator pedal.
