I've been waiting for a biodegradable bin liner for a long time and this was a pleasant surprise. For the most part it works fine but you have to be careful as it doesn't work. from those strong plastic bags and can tear. The package also came without ties but I used the ones that came with my washed clothes and did the same for recycling.

i love these bags. I use it every day, it doesn't leak. They are great for our environment and work well. It doesn't get any smarter. This crate has lasted over 6 months (about 20% used) and I have recycling, compost and bins, 2 cats to clean up and a constant stream of dirty diapers to collect. Great value for money. Many Thanks

I'm not an expert on plastics, but given the chance they might be biodegradable or less harmful than the traditional garbage bags I find myself in. They are thin (transparent) and tear easily. But with that in mind, they work flawlessly. Sometimes their thinness makes them easier to handle (they are light) and tie. Also, they're a big box, cheaper than store brands.

I'm used to using biodegradable bags so the thickness of the bag doesn't bother me. I got this larger size because these bags don't stretch or bend and the 13 gallon biodegradable kitchen bags fit snugly in the jar. It didn't work for my family's favorite game, Junk Jenga. With these pockets in the 13 gallon trash can, there are plenty of extra pockets for 10 inches of trash that rises dangerously from above.

UPDATE: I've been using these bags for 2 years now. I've only had 1 time that I can remember where the bag leaked. And I can only remember twice that the bag was torn, and that was because something sharp tore the bag from the inside. One order of these bags (500 carats) lasts us for more than a year.
