They are not as thick as in the description. They almost tear like paper. I need 2 or 3 so they don't tear when I take them out of the bin and I just throw regular household rubbish in them. You will NEVER carry heavy objects and debris!

These are the worst bags in the world. Think tissue paper and then a 55-60 gallon garbage bag. The description says "very thick" if they are very thick I don't want to see what is normal or thin. DO NOT BUY unless you require a plastic bag that is less thick than the grocery bags available at the grocery store.

If you've ever seen those flimsy black bags used in office waste bins (imagine they're a few notches larger than dry cleaning bags), you've got a pretty good idea of what it is is these packages. "Contractor" "liners for cans" are similar. Here's the rule of thumb. If you use one of the packages to throw away the remaining packages, you must "double bag" it so the box doesn't stick out. it's probably not the "contract" variety.

Well, first of all, half of the reviews complain that they puke with the household waste. They are not intended for intensive home use, but for office use. If you want something stiffer in larger sizes, look for drum liners which are made for heavier use and are most commonly used to cover 55 gallon metal drums. Second, they're great for household rubbish as long as you double them, don't overload them, or fill them with heavy/sharp/sharp objects.

I bought these bags to help with cleaning and packing for a move to a new address. I opened the box and they looked very, very fragile and very, very thin, but I tried them anyway. They are absolute rubbish. They broke immediately. I was going to return them but I opened the box and tried on a few. I even went as far as doubling and tripling them. COMPLETE GARBAGE! Don't waste your money and time on this. This is the first review I've ever written, so I'm mad at it. I would give them zero stars

I just received my order for 150 packs less than 10 minutes ago and my first impression is not very good. They are very light, very little stretch before snapping when I tested one and I could squeeze my finger slightly while dropping one, for the same reason it broke so easily, very little stretch. To be honest I'm not seeing any bags containing anything other than leaves at the moment too close to the capacity of a 55-60 gallon bag. I bought these as liners for our 50 gallon household garbage

Normal "build" bags of this size are at least 3 mil thick. These bags aren't MIL certified, but if you can get them, they're easy to spot if you're familiar with a product of great construction and not nearly as thick. They appear to be well made. The stitching has held up to use, but I wouldn't use them for heavy duty jobs to get rid of the dirt found in places like this, which is typical use of large (50 gallon plus) garbage bags.
