RP Remarkable Power Transmission Engine Motor Mount Kit for 1998-2002 Accord 2.3L AT Trans - Front Rear Left - A6572 A6564 A6583 A6570 Review

Installed these engine mounts on my 2002 Honda Accord SE (4 cylinder). These mounts appeared to be of decent quality and the screw holes all lined up correctly. The front 3 aren't too bad, but the rear ones are a real pain in the ass. I haven't checked the vacuum line on the rear bracket yet.

WILL NOT FIT 2002 Honda Accord LX 4cyl. My mechanic had to drill some new holes to fit. After that they seem to work fine. So remember, you can account for that extra work and effort. Not a bad deal if you don't mind this challenge.

Ordered in October, took advice from one of the reviewers and tested the vacuum mount before installing. The vacuum wouldn't hold. The company has stopped responding to emails and will not replace the product. A dropshipping company that doesn't know anything about car parts. DO NOT BUY! If you do, take the reviewer's advice and inspect the vacuum mount prior to installation.

3 of 4 worked great both during installation and in service after replacing the motor. The front bracket should have a metal sleeve that runs the full width of the bracket for the bolt to go through. Our mount has a metal sleeve about 1 inch long in the middle for the bolt and then empty air where there should be additional sleeves on either side. Most likely this is just some kind of manufacturing defect, but it went unnoticed until it was too late. Otherwise everything is good.

4 stars only for me because the rubber materials on this product seem fine except for the "Rear Mount Vacuum Booster" which doesn't hold the pressure 100%. Maybe the one I received was leaking or leaking. But the seller is great at resolving the issue quickly by refunding me a partial amount for that particular item. There were several issues with this set, one minor, one major. A small first - the center bracket had an interference fit with the factory bracket. I had to do a bit of filing to get permission. Nothing bad, but not what was needed. The main issue was that I couldn't get the rear mount to take the pressure. Really give it 2 stars because they screwed up doubling the packaging on one mount and missing the other. My kit included 1 rear mount, 1 driver's side, 2 transmission mounts (there should only be 1) and no front mount. I had to go to the auto parts store. Aside from being mostly incomplete like buying shoes and having 2 left in the box instead of 1 left and 1 right, the gearbox, driver's side and rear end are surprisingly good for the price.
