The grip is not very strong.

The bristles on this brush are not as stiff as I had hoped. In fact, this product only works in one direction and mostly on low-pile carpets. The handle is segmented (for easier portability I think) but it also makes it easy to bend without too much pressure. Go to the local fair and buy something better.

Silicone broom for sweeping dog hair - the bomb!

This multi-handled broom comes with several aluminum handles that bolt together to create a good-length brush for use on wood or other types of indoor floors. Sounds great, like the broom everyone needs to sweep up dog hair. Bad Dogs! lol. However, it's not exactly designed for that, at least not for a 6ft 2in man. All that fur! for sweeping

I have oriental rugs at home and a few pets. The vacuum cleaner did not pick up pet hair well. I read about these rubber brooms and did some research before finally settling on this one. Other reviews are correct, but I think people are confused by the term "broom". This doesn't mean you can just sweep it into a pile like a regular broom.
