So easy to solve my dryer door latch!

I looked up the model number from the web page of the manufacturer, then ordered from Revain. The part was here in 2 days, very reasonable priced. It was simple to install!

Pros
  • It just simply works, life saver and they even give you more. Awesome!

  • May not guarantee a perfect fit for every appliance

worked great! for my opinion

got a cheap dryer and the only issue with it was the snap to enclose the door. ordered this and its like its brand new! Useful for repair of original but not of great quality.!

Must have gotten a bad pair.

Latch and catch appear to be of good quality but not so in my case. Both catches broke, one latch bent 90° on first close of the dryer door, and second latch broke in half. Get what you pay for. Now searching to buy the Fridgidaire factory parts locally. May work for some, but that wasn't my experience.

  • This worked perfectly for our Maytag dryer. Easy to install and keeps our door closed.

Moved into a new home.the used washer/ dryer set.had issue with door latch.luckily being a prime customer.finding a replacement set was simple.THANKS 😊

easy to install on my review.

You just pop it in, no tools. Works great. I was able to do this by myself so no one knows I broke the dryer latch due to slamming the door shut. Used for Frigidaire Affinity dryer.

Extremely disappointed: One of these was used

One of the pair I was sent appeared to be used and worn out. It looked exactly like the one I removed. Fortunately I ordered two, but if they had sent me just the bent one, I would have not been able to fix my dryer.See photo of the two I received. These are right out of the package.

Wiggly but it works.

These things are easy to install, but didn't latch well. I had to bend the end to make it wider so as not to fall out of the clasp. Not to mention mine is for a frigidaire so the clasp wiggles but so did the old one. They need to make a better quality latching system.

Fixed my dryer door without an expensive repair bill!

My dryer door kept popping open because this part was broken. This replacement worked perfectly and was fairly simple to install. So glad to not have to pay to repair something this simple! (YouTube to the rescue!)

Cheap parts - my new review

The product came on time and as described. It was easy for me to install, but the "male" part broke in half as I was putting it in.

  • The metal of the clips is very thin. Clips come loose every time you open the door.

Wrong size for my opinion

The latch did not fit my LG dryer model dlex5170w. Bought it because it said it would fit but it didn’t. It’s seems really easy to install just not the right size

Missing a part the first time I ordered.

I just ordered this for the second time, and when I installed it, I realized that I was missing a metal backing that will (likely) prevent the part from breaking and falling into the machine. So I probably am due a refund for the first order, though I didn't even know it until the second one.

  • Dryer door would just open...this fixed it like new!
Cons
  • When I finally got the latch, it was corroded and bent. It was shipped that way. Threw it away.

Not universal for my opinion

Part it not universal. I have a Maytag dryer that needed a new door latch. The part was to small. It seems durable just not the right size.

Affordable but not as strong as the original.

Product was cheaper than the competition. Fitted nicely as a replacement but doesn’t keep the dryer door closed as strongly as before. I have had instances when I was drying bigger heavier items like sheets and the clothes knocked open the dryer door.Functioning right now but I am very gently with it.

Okay, works. best in my review

They work as intended, although they could be a little more ridgid. Door latches and stays closed during the dry cycle but the door seems to have a bit of play, as if the latch isnt holding it as tight as the original did.

Excellent replacement

$8 for a replacement set plus an extra set to prolong the life of our Frigidaire Affinity dryer. Perfect. May require professional installation!
