I use these batteries in a drill and a circular saw. The old batteries were over 10 years old and worked but needed frequent charging. With these new batteries, I don't even have to charge them at the end of a day's work.

I bought these batteries to replace one of my Porter Cable batteries that is no longer holding a charge. They were economical, charged instantly and worked great in my drill press. Haven't tried them on my saws yet but expect the same great performance.

I ended up returning it because one of the two batteries didn't charge and left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately Porter Cable no longer supplies this battery so the consumer will have to purchase from a third party or purchase new equipment which I will do.

18v batteries are hard to find in large hardware stores as they are all 24v. The OEM batteries that came with my porter and cord drill lasted almost five years. Hope these last as long. So far so good and I've used my drill on a single charge for a few projects around the house.

So all I knew was that I needed an extra battery. I received them on time and was thrilled when I checked them for fit. what they did However, they will not charge you for anything. I waited 2 weeks and tried charging them again and they worked. Life isn't that long, but still get your work done. Therefore 3 stars!

It was a waste of money. I tried to be resourceful and keep using the old Porter Cable Toolkit rather than buying something new. The battery life is less than 10 minutes when they have a decent connection to tools. So weak that a professional saw won't even give if it hits a tree. Don't waste money and time. It's not worth the frustration.

This list may not be accurate. These batteries are not NiCad. They are no-mh. There are a few others on the list that are Ni-MH and I didn't want to order them based on reviews that had issues loading this type. However, I have found that the batteries in my tools work well and charge with no issues. I hope they last as long as the original nickel cadmium batteries that came with my tools. I just don't like the misinformation on the list.
