I needed a new filter for my shop vacuum. This filter is well made, easy to install and works great. I will order more, I recommend it to everyone who needs this filter. This is a great purchase.

My vacuum had a round washer and nut to hold the filter. This filter does not require a plate. Either the old nut or the new one provided the job. This will be my choice from now on.

Filter works well but cheap plastic nut won't hold causing filter to fall off during use. This happened to me twice when I was vacuuming sawdust in my workshop.

Was wondering if it would work with our old shop vacuum - but it works absolutely perfectly. Measure and test before ordering to be sure - but works like the original at a fraction of the cost. Will definitely buy again!

Now that Sears is gone I am grateful for the parts available online to keep their Craftsman products going. It's a great replacement, fits my store vacuum like new, and is probably even cheaper than Sears (no wonder they went out of business).

My husband has been looking for a filter for his Shopvac for a long time and we finally decided to look online. We had a part number and other specs so it wasn't hard to find and we could have done it a long time ago! We ordered it and it came on time and fits perfectly. No complaints at all.

This filter does not fit on the motor base like the original filter. This end should be slightly larger in diameter than this filter. The threaded rod end on my Craftsman 16 gal fits, but I had to use the original threaded swivel nut to secure this filter. The supplied plastic lever handle was not suitable for my device. Would have preferred a similar replacement filter.
