Good product - Pliers Set

I fitted these replacement handles to a new pair of channel locking wire cutters. they fit like a glove. Buy a few more to fix the handles on an old pair of pliers. I would advise you to make the water hotter than just the faucet temp.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

They are easy to install and work flawlessly.

These were the great replacement pins I could find. I followed the installation instructions and they worked fine. The handles work well and serve their purpose. I give it 4/5 for durability, although I haven't used them much yet because the material feels very stiff. The downside, they are a bit stiff for my taste, I wanted and expected a slightly softer material. I don't know how many people are re-handling pliers, but that seems like a real niche in the market.

They work! on hand tools

My boss gave me these old adhesives a long time ago when I first started working for him and the original yellow insulating coating was on its last legs. So instead of buying new ones, this was an alternative. These blades have been used heavily as you can't see the etch marks and they still open, close and cut like new. I don't like the feel of these buttons to be honest, but we'll see after some testing. They also smell like something wild, which leads me to believe that the rats would eat…

Matches perfectly with Servess Linear Pliers

Put these on 45 year old Servess tongs (8.5 inches long). I used to clean them with a wire brush and tried plastid for the grips but wasn't happy. I carried these tongs in my pockets like in the early 70's and they've been through hell and back so I wanted to get them back in shape. Put some dish soap paraphernalia on the handles before sliding the heated Kleins into place and hammer in. The end result is a great fit and a new life for my trusty old pliers.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Negative Gift

Worth every penny - durable, attractive, perfect fit

They're a bit pricey (but they're still Klein's best electrician's tools - to be expected). But then again, they fit the pliers PERFECTLY (super snug so they don't slip or twist) and feel extremely strong and durable. A word of advice, if you put these grips on a full set of electrician's pliers (lineman's pliers) like I did, you'll find that it's almost impossible to get them onto the grips of steel pliers unless you spray the steel with some silicone grease . as good as new " now you have.

, Remove the insulation that came with your adhesives. Some people have been able to place these red handles on top of the existing insulation, but I didn't. I taped the handles and then put the red tape on. once I've applied some glue to keep them from slipping off (sometimes it happens) Definitely put the red pencils in boiling water and then put them on top of the glues. You won't continue to the end, so THEN PUT THE KLEINS INTO THE BOILING WATER WITH HANDLES. Grab a towel or two to hold the

Great replacement for handles!

Bought these to replace the handles on my new pair of tongs from Bahco (Sweden) as the PVC handles are not very good. Follow the installation instructions and use very hot water from a simmering pot (boil only), the handles were easy to install and I look forward to using them for many years to come. The handles of my tongs were a bit smaller than the Kliens, so next time I might use some tape to reinforce them and give them some insulating properties. They say they can't be used on live…
