    Worked great as a replacement for a broken optical drive

    I recently dropped my PS4 Slim and since then the optical drive has dropped out a few times as if trying to read the disc but not create t then said that the disk is not recognized. I didn't mind since most of my games are digital, but recently I decided this was going to be a fun weekend project.     Easy to install on PS4 Slim. You don't even have to take out the motherboard or change the thermal paste!

    10/10 I can finally watch movies on Blu-ray again. My black PS4 Slim was only used for about a year and a half before half of my discs became unreadable. I thought it would be a complicated process, but luckily I didn't have to remove the entire motherboard with the PS4 Slim. Simply loosen the 6-8 screws holding the lens.     Worked great! suitable for external components

    I was skeptical but I dared and it helped me. My PS4 Pro has stopped randomly recognizing discs since launch without warning.     Hopefully with computers and accessories

    Just replaced it with my laser lens and so far so good, just hoping it will last longer than my previous one (from another seller) which was barely 5 months Has lasted. I'll update this review depending on how long it takes, but other than that I'm happy with the ease of replacing the entire mechanism, not just the laser itself, as it takes more work to replace another, especially if you don't have one the abilities.

    Not OEM. Poor quality product not working even after 1 month.

    Intermittent, only reads some games, gives error on first transfer or loads game fine but can't read to verify or start. This shouldn't be part of the OEM, I suspect a low quality or low quality manufacturer will result in intermittent performance.

    Fixed PS4 laser in computer and accessories

    At first my PS4 didn't read discs at all, I opened it and wiped my eyes with alcohol. It started reading discs, but then the PS4 kept crashing when it hit a certain point while copying game data. So I had to replace the laser. What's great about this laser replacement is the fact that it's a whole assembly, you don't have to disassemble any small parts. Direct replacement that is easy to install. I used to hear a lot of noise from PS4 when trying to read discs. Now everything is quiet and works

    Works great! Easy installation if you are familiar and know how to disassemble electronics. My new PS4 Pro feels like new again. Many Thanks. I'm tired of always squeezing my PS4 Pro in just the right place so it can read the disc. Maybe it's just me, but it seems to me that discs are read faster than before. Now I don't have to buy a new one.ps. Make sure you have new thermal paste. Clean the old paste and replace it with fresh paste.

    The product worked with my PS4 slim disc read error

    A good product so far, you will need to disassemble your game console to get the part number to order the correct one. Pretty simple, lots of instructional videos online, I have a ps4 slim and the whole hard drive cartridge shouldn't come out, they have a flap that pops off and the laser assembly slides straight out, you have to pull out the straps to replace with a new part and this fixes that Disk read error. Mine said "disk not recognizable" on Blu-ray and in games. That solved the problem…
