Replaces 20837967 Liftgate Compatible 2010 2015 Review

I ordered this part a few months ago. Took it to my mechanic today (as I had a separate problem with my window) he opened it before me and asked why I bought a used/possibly broken part. It doesn't look like the photo and was clearly dirty. Not sure if that still works. but i'm not happy. Yes I should have opened/installed it when I got it but I'm still unhappy

This part allowed me to use a youtube self repair video. Remote opening works now, trunk lock works, everything works. This part failed due to a Cadillac defect which caused the sunroof to leak into the trunk and the part to come out. My auto repair shop said they wouldn't even touch it due to the complexity of the repair, so I took it to the dealership and got an estimate of $3,000.
