I've had this for about 6 months now and it works very well. It maintains a constant 90 degree hotspot when controlled by a thermostat. Overall I am very satisfied with this.

Keeps my beard hut warm at night without too much light. I've chosen a performance that allows the case temperature to drop to the mid and over 70s D (25C) and I'm using the Wi-Fi temp sensor to control the temp and planned smart plugs to turn off the main heating/UV lamps Dusk and that's CHE next. My bearded husband sometimes sleeps under this heater in his hammock and sometimes in his den, but either way the temperature seems right for him.

seems hotter to me than my CHE exoterra and I also have trouble regulating the temperature with my dimmer. On my dimmer's lowest setting, we're still in the low 90s off the ground on the hot side of my toddler's life. on exoterra it was in the mid to high 80's on medium settings. So if I had to go deeper, I couldn't. I hope there is no cause for concern. Haven't used my IR gun yet to check the temp on the cool side, but my kite is fine.
