Stop scrolling,just buy it

Sell your heavy auger and buy this with a Milwaukee hammer drill. It’s a ten pound set up, and eats ice for a living Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Love how light this is and it works perfectly..
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on thicker ice

Just Awesome good for me

This auger blew my mind. Extremely light weight. Super fast. Love the center point. 20" of ice like nothing. Combined with Milwaukee hammer drill with 12 amp hour battery it lasts all day hole hoping

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Can become dislodged from the drill during use

Alaska tough! in my review

This auger is the new standard in ice augers. There is a bit of a learning curve as you don’t have the weight of the power head to drive the auger down, but once you get the hang of it they are sweet. My last five holes of the season were through 35” of ice and this thing ate it up. I fish remote lakes so everything goes in by snowmobile. Not having to haul that gas auger is gonna save a lot of space.

Pros
  • Ice fishing
Cons
  • May scare away fish with the noise of the drill

First set of blades would not cut.

Was looking forward to using the auger due to portability while scouting. Attached it to new Milwaukee brushless drill and could not complete the first hole in 13-15” of ice on initial outing. Blades appeared sharp, but would only cut enough to look like it was snowing. Replacement set of blades were included with the auger and installed to give a try on day two. We made a video of the second day expecting the same results. To my surprise it worked as it should and quickly drilled two holes. 3…

Pros
  • It's light weight and works awesome
Cons
  • Can be challenging to operate with gloves on

Bad blades out of the box

Got the item rapidly. went out on the ice and had to put my full body weight on the bit to even drill a hole. put on the replacement blades that came with the bit and next day was shredding holes like crazy. I’m hoping to get a set of replacement blades free. maybe it was a demo auger

Pros
  • HEXAGONAL, ALUMINUM INNER STEM SHAFT: Efficiently transfers power from drill to cutting head.
Cons
  • Additional cost for replacement blades, compared to traditional ice augers

Nice auger in my review

Eskimo made a very good auger. Light weight and cuts very well. I used it for pan fishing. The only thing I can say is make sure you have a powerful enough drill. I didn’t so had to go out and buy a new drill.

Pros
  • RIPS through the ice. So fast. Use a good drill, and save the gas for the bonfire eh.
Cons
  • Limited to specific sizes of auger bits

Be prepared! Cordless drill didn't work.

My 18volt craftman drill kept I overheating. So one hole drilled first trip. Came back with a tailgator generator and a 6amp corded drill, that did the job on 8" of ice.

Pros
  • As I will be turning 80 in June, this lightweight Auger is sure easier for me to carry!
Cons
  • May cause drill to overheat and malfunction

Really rips holes! And so lite!

I have a DeWalt DCD999 Hammer drill with 9 Ah battery. I have drilled about 50 holes and still full charge. This thing is so lite (3.9 pounds) my drill and battery weigh more. Absolutely love my new toy!

Pros
  • A+rating
Cons
  • Additional weight to bring along on an already heavy ice fishing trip

Great auger, hold the drill firmly!

I purchased this auger to be powered by my Milwaukee18v 1/2 hammer drill with 2 handles. The ice in Northern Alaska gets very thick. I recently went ice fishing and drilled 6 holes and still had 4 bars on my 4ah battery. The holes were cut very quick and accurate. It didn't skip across the ice or any other craziness. When I tried cutting through some previously drilled holes there were some choice words when the auger kept getting caught on the sides of the hole. This WILL break your wrist if…

Pros
  • HIGH-STRENGTH POLYMER CUTTING HEAD: Reliable performance in all conditions. Aggressive design cuts through ice quickly and smoothly.
Cons
  • Takes up valuable space in a fishing sled or backpack

Chews ice, Gets Ooo's and Ahh's from the old-timers.

Thing kicks butt.Chews holes like no otherDoes not slip since they put in the ice-picklightest on the marketWith a Milwaukee M18 brushless, it is very efficient. last weekend my ice was around 11-13 inches. i drilled maybe 10 holes. battery (5ah) said 75 pct full.ive used it a lot during my last ice derby, all the dudes around me wanted to try it. still didn't drain the battery. If you are in the market for a new auger. Get this.If you have an auger that works good, don't bother!i got it as i'm…

Pros
  • Auger Drill Bits
Cons
  • May not be as precise as traditional hand turned augers

Works perfectly for my opinion

Took it out last weekend. Went through anywhere from 6 inches to 12 inches of ice. Worked perfectly on my Dewalt 20v hammer drill. People saying the original blades didn't preform well but I had no issues. Drilled roughly 20 holes.

Pros
  • works great, Drilled thousands of holes this winter. Fast and clean.
Cons
  • May require replacement parts if drilled through rocks or debris

This is very light only 3.2 lbs

Bought this just before ice out in 2022 but never got to use it and excited to use it at end of 2022 will update review when available

Pros
  • Best pistol bit you can get! cuts through ice no problem.
Cons
  • May damage the ice if not used properly

Just like cutting through butter.

I paired this auger with a Dewalt 20v drill with 5.0 amp hour battery. This set weighs in at less than 10lbs. I needed an auger much lighter than my propane gas auger. This fills the need . This 8' auger cuts though ice as good or better than any gas auger I've used. A friend and I have drilled close to 50 holes in a day Though 14" ice, exploring around a nearby lake before the battery gave out.

Pros
  • Used a couple times and very satisfied with the results.
Cons
  • May require multiple batteries for longer fishing trips

What a great tool. in my review

What a great tool for drilling holes. I have been Ice Fishing for 50 years and this is the best tool to come along. I can drill all of the holes that we use in minutes and without hauling around a heavy Ice auger to do it. The bit is sharp and drills through 2 feet of ice in seconds. I may never pull another starter cord again.

Pros
  • REPLACEABLE STEEL BLADES: Dual flat steel blades offer smooth cutting and breakthrough. Can be replaced.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use in low light conditions
