Just like cutting through butter.

I paired this auger with a Dewalt 20v drill with 5.0 amp hour battery. This set weighs in at less than 10lbs. I needed an auger much lighter than my propane gas auger. This fills the need . This 8' auger cuts though ice as good or better than any gas auger I've used. A friend and I have drilled close to 50 holes in a day Though 14" ice, exploring around a nearby lake before the battery gave out.

Used a couple times and very satisfied with the results.

Cons

May require multiple batteries for longer fishing trips
