Haven't used the strap yet, used the receiver shackle. it worked well. Update 8/6/19 uses a strap. did exactly what I expected.

I received it today and wow everything is very well done! The strap itself feels great and is heavily reinforced, and I can count on that when the need arises. The hitch receiver is sturdy, the item itself probably weighs 10-15 pounds and the included shackle feels great! Always pick up something to tow another vehicle, so adding another D-ring strut or soft strut will work. The bag is bigger but that's a plus for me as I also put my tools in it and everything still fits snugly! I can't comment

So this strap and D-ring are not only high quality and extremely durable, but also excellent. I recently went on a 5 day off-road trip across 3 states and along the way I had to clear a fairly large tree and doing so broke my belt. I now have a Cummins Diesel Mega Cab Mega Ram which is built quite heavily and ended up snapping the belt. I contacted the company and the next day they drove to my house to replace the broken one. It's true. We use when we are deep in mud or sand and need a 4WD army semi trailer to clear other trailers or heavy equipment. The smaller straps, which are half the price, are great for cars that are a little stuck, but if you're in a "situation" an additional $15 can save you a thousand dollars in "wrecker" Save Recovery Fees. so it's worth charging by yourself. My advice: pay in advance, be happy and safe for pennies.

I have used this a few times as I have already towed a 3/4 ton plow and half ton truck. It worked great, quick and easy to connect to the hitch or tow hooks on the front of the truck. I have been impressed with this and another Rhino product I have purchased, they are well made and appear to be very durable. Recently had to use buddy restraints to rescue a wayward Jeep owner from deep mud. They made me buy them. On the first drive they actually used their 30ft tow strap and hitch shackle adapter to save another wayward Jeep owner. Firstly I think they are very distorted. They are clearly trying to make you believe they are made in the USA. You are not. My fault, I think I should have looked more closely. Second, the tow strap is nowhere near as good as my Pro Comp strap. Actual webbing may be similar. However, the protective film on the ends and the other part is rubbish. The metal components appear to be of high quality and I have used the D-rings several times with no problems.
