Do not buy this product. The remote control does not work with the motorcycle. We ordered a replacement and it doesn't work either. We changed all the batteries in both the bike and the remote control, but it still doesn't work. Don't be fooled, this is a scam. Do not buy.

We had the same problem. Bought two. I changed the batteries, the controller didn't work on any of them. FINALLY my husband found out that the little red tab on the bike (which we thought was a bike pedal) was actually one of those plastic tabs that you have to pull out and remove in order for the batteries/connector to work. After we pulled that out, the controller worked great. You might think the instructions would cause this.

Thank you for seeing another review on this subject! We opened ours and thought great, our remote doesn't work either. There's a trick! Ricky has a small red hard plastic tab that looks like a motorcycle foot pedal that needs to be pulled out for the remote to work! After we did that, everything worked. The remote control also requires 2 AAA batteries. Now that everything is working our son is thrilled - Ricky is his favorite character and he loves that the toy can ride on wheels. Great fun!

It was a good bike and semi working. The board didn't work at all. I tried different batteries, including the expensive ones. Nothing worked. I read a few reviews that said the same thing but still decided to give it a try because my 2 year old son is obsessed with ATVs and motorcycles. I should have listened. My 3 year old son loved this toy so much he bought it for Easter. When it didn't work well, we were both disappointed to say the least. Everyone has mentioned that there is a small red tab on the side that looks like a kickstand that needs to be removed before use, which is what we did.
