Think twice or buy from Nissan

Leaks a day after installation. The base is not flat at all! The oil pressure was too high and could damage my engine. Pay attention to this product. I ended up getting a valve cover ($239 + $36 gasket) from the dealer that is well worth the money! Go and buy yourself a good one. After all, $270 is cheaper than a whole motor. Be careful!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Almost Never

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

I bought this valve cover kit for my 2005 Infiniti G35 in October 2019. I had them installed by a certified mechanic in November and they started leaking in the spark plugs in May. Needless to say, don't buy this valve cover. Spend an extra $150 on a better set and avoid the time and extra money associated with re-exchanging.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Small things

Do not buy You have been warned

A week after installation I tried to replace the ignition coils, two nuts on the passenger side started to turn, I had to drill them out to remove the coils, now I have Having to replace the valve cover and gasket again for another 11 hours. Do not buy. The seller told me that I overtightened the screws. Well they were tightened as they are just holding the coil in place. Don't buy this brand if you don't like pain.

The great fit will be updated as I use the car on a daily basis.

Installed on my Nissan 350Z. If you are interested I suggest buying the original gaskets and discarding the ones that came with the kit as they are of low quality. The valve covers up quite nicely. Don't worry if one side doesn't seem to sit flush at first, you should tighten the screws in sequence and the cover will pull up to be flush with the top seam. Also, don't forget to use RTV on the front of the cover.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
