It’s a decent cane with a lot going for it, but not perfect

Both my wife and I agree, this Rirether Walking Cane for Men & Women, Adjustable Height Carbon Fiber Cane has a lot going for it, but it’s not perfect and would be our second choice if pressed.Both athletes, my wife and I have had our share of injuries. Among these, last year she severely broke her foot, requiring her to be off it for 4 months, then use a knee stroller, then cane as she regained her muscle tone. I’ve had several sever sprains and tore four ligaments in my ankle at one point…

Lightweight, but very strong.

This cane is very light, so it is easy for anyone to carry and use. The shaft is bright and shiny, but most important, it is strong. There is no flex to the cane and no slippage once you set it to your desired length. The handle is a somewhat unique shape that I don't find very comfortable. I prefer a more ergonomic shape. Will not stand up regularly

Nice lightweight cane. However, I needed one that readily stands by itself. This one will stand, on a flat surface only with the care associated with building a house of cards or dominos.

Adjustment requires excessive force

I have another Rerither cane (adjustable walking stick) I like, with a more usual height adjustment peg and hole mechanism. I hoped this cane with a sliding mechanism would be an improvement, but I cannot tighten the slide enough after adjustment to secure the fit or even close the slider flap, even using pliers and enough effort to damage the plastic tightening screw. I can use the cane tips, but otherwise this is a total loss.

Sparkly Top! for my opinion

This is nicely adjustable, with instructions on the best length for your height, although they do not tell you where to measure to the top of the cane. Ther are some sparkly 'gems' near the top, so this is not suitable for a man.

Great for a tall person

I am over six feet tall. This cane telescopes enough to fit my height. I am confident when I walk with it. The cane feels sturdy enough, although I would not put my full weight on it. It helps me navigate uneven sidewalks. When I am not using it, it collapses into a portable size.
