Good tire but too narrow for 32mm

This tire works well on flat hard gravel but 700x32 is more like 700x30. If you don't have enough tire clearance this will help.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • unreliable

Very good cross tire

I use this tire on my daily commute on bumpy, glass-strewn roads. So far it's holding up very well and doesn't have too much rolling resistance.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Better off road than on road

Pretty good tire for the price. The knobs feel a little crooked when the tire is fully inflated on hard tarmac. Decrease the pressure and go off-road, these tires are really starting to shine. Good grip on grassy, slightly softer ground. Not the best puncture-resistant tires, but Idaho gaotheads are some tough customers. i like her ok

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Expensive

and I can't say enough good things about them

I've put about 500 miles on my Canyon road bike with these tires and can't say enough good things about them. They only lose traction in very sandy or muddy conditions. Otherwise, they handled the trails with ease. They also offer a great, stable ride on the road, round corners and offer much longer braking distances. They have a bit more lip than some tires, which means some people may not like the feel of cornering like they do with rounded tires. But even when I rode them in the mountains…

  • Problems

I installed these tires on my commuter bike that will be used temporarily as a CX and gravel breaker while I complete my new install. For light off-road use they are great for the price. The mud-shedding design works well and I didn't feel any slippage from the saddle when climbing gravel hills. 32mm is too thin for loose and coarse Kansas gravel. So if you plan to do Dirty Kanza on it, choose 40mm. The bike has ridden a lot of fresh gravel that hasn't been powdered yet, and I wish my tires…
