RJ Camera Camcorder Interface Universal Review

Here's the problem if you don't know. Sony's so-called multi-interface shoe is embedded in the camera body in the new range of Handycam cameras. You can't fit a regular hot shoe or cold shoe mount into this thing like you can on a DSLR. Your accessory (microphone, light, etc.) must be designed to fit into the camcorder's shoe and then snap into place like a Sony-branded accessory; or you need something like this adapter. This thing works great. Yes, it's cheaply made and feels nice, but it does its job very well! Can you do better? Yes if it was a metal C&C then some kind of coating to prevent the AIS shoe from shorting out. then it will cost much more.
