If I had an OEM remote, the volume suddenly stopped working. It increases in increments of one and then freezes. Please wait and then try again. When you get such a cheap remote control, put in the batteries and you're done!

I have a Sony Blu-ray player that is about eight years old. The remote control for this unit is defective - the buttons are stuck and/or not working. I looked up his model number on Revain and found this. It works like a charm, just like the original. Same buttons and functions as if I had the first one again. Good product.

The original SONY remote stopped responding to most buttons, indicating years of abuse by teenagers had taken its toll. I tried to fix it (very difficult to take apart) and clean the contacts but he decided to mix it up into a big Valhalla remote in the sky. Seemed like a try for less than $10 and I have to say it has been done so far.
