You will feel the difference in quality and volume

This is a great product for improving the sound quality of your speakers and can be used as a standalone product. However, it is designed to be used with sound-absorbing floor mats on the inside of the doors. I also used foam rollers on the outside of the door. So if you ever need to remove it, you can. I also covered the door panel with styrofoam. I don't experience any rattling or vibration from either side of the doors and the bass you get is huge. Using this soundproofing product will make…

Proved me in car audio video installation

The last time I installed speakers was over twenty years ago. When all my research kept coming up with products like this, I figured I'd try them even if we didn't. I was so skeptical that I only installed one side at first. In truth, I could only tell a small difference as I sat still and tried to compare them. BUT when I put it on the road, particularly a bumpy gravel road, I heard a significant difference between the two in sound quality and reduced "door rumble". So, of course, both sides…

Kills Bass in Car AV Setup

Update: 08/05/2019 I just installed foam behind one of my front speakers and it KILLED bass and sound. Now it sounds duller. Use soundproofing instead. It was a waste of my money. Especially since I bought two sets for my two cars. I looked at the instructions on the bag and just looked at the pictures and figured you would glue the center piece directly to the back of the speaker. That is not right. I'll try to fix this later but it prevented me from installing them with my new speakers due to

Speakers come alive!

I bought these to help with a set of adapter rings that were listed as fitting a Subaru Outback 08 which they seem to do. They screw in well, there is a screw pattern but with a gap towards the front edge of the door. At first I used Gorilla Tape and some RTV but that wasn't enough. Using Road Kill foam rings made a huge difference. I removed the speaker from the ring and stuffed a small foam ring around the inner perimeter of the adapter and drew a larger one around the outer perimeter which…

Really the difference between day and night

Like some others I was skeptical. With several years of professional car audio installation experience back in the early '00s, I am very suspicious of anything that appears new and hasn't been personally tested. It's just foam discs and rings, how effective can they be in enhancing mid-bass? Answer: VERY. I installed an Infinity 6x9 in the back of my car and 6" Infinity components in the front, along with 10GA sound deadening cables that ran into each corner from my 4 channel amp to each…
