The part is obviously scrap. It was installed by a heating and air conditioning specialist and worked for 2 weeks. We turned off our stove because it was getting warm outside, went about 2 weeks and tried turning the fillers back on one morning to clear the chill on a chilly morning and it wouldn't light up again. I've given it an 'average' rating because I think it's partly my fault. Other reviews that the connector does not fit York ovens are correct. So yes I could cut off the old connector and put in a new one as others describe. In addition, they contain rotatable connectors. However, I sent it back as the item is slightly shorter than the original. Is it important? Does it shorten its lifespan? I don't know but didn't want to risk it because I have a stove in the attic and I didn't want to bother…
