    DO NOT waste your money

DO NOT waste your money. Cannot trust results from this device. Used a brand new air conditioner to evacuate and refuel a car that arrived at the shop with no refrigerant. Filled system from a new 30 lb canister. I wanted to try the device, see how it works. Follow the connection instructions. The device said that the machine is out of order! How can a virgin 134a fail? Now I only get an error message from the device. The grateful Revane allowed me to return!

    Cons
    • The cable is shorter than other tools

A known good system passed, an unsuccessful and empty system

4 out of 5 stars. There are several reasons for this. It only analyzes up to 95%, in contrast to 98% of more expensive multi-refrigerant models. It uses the exact same technology and as it is rated for R134a it should work 98% of the time in my opinion but it is what it is. The second reason is the error display. I just received this device and had a job to try it on. After setting to T, during the warm-up period, the error indicator started blinking. In the manual it gives codes for 5 errors…
