Great replacement hoses!

A few years ago I bought a cheap gauge set and the ends of the hoses were worn out. These new hoses work great. Looks high quality and is a good length. They are more flexible and easier to fit than my old hoses.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Very cheap feel, not for 410a

Testo manifold replacement kit. You can immediately see the inferior quality of the hoses, I'm not a fan of rubber boots either. Instead, I will continue to use my Testo tubes. I will buy my next set in the fridge.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Compatibility

Excellent quality from Robinair

I always buy Robinair products. There may be cheaper products out there, but if a product breaks during a support call, is it worth the downtime? The few euros you save are quickly spent on replacing a defective product.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Zero

Quality hoses at a good price

I replaced the hoses on my inexpensive gauge kit because they were too stiff and every time I moved the gauges a little the ends would twist or loosen a little. This is a professional quality set of hoses that perform better than the original hoses and are available at a price that won't break the bank. If you use gauges every day you might be able to justify spending a lot of money on yellow jacket tubing or something like that, but if like me you only need gauges from time to time but want…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

The name Robinair speaks for itself.

I only bought these hoses because I had an old solid brass Robinair manifold with a good set of gauges and an old rotten hose. The Robinair name speaks for itself when it comes to a quality product and these hoses compare favorably to a new set of quality gauges, even with the purchase of adapters separately. The downside is the old gauge set doesn't have an R134-A temp scale, but most mechanics I've seen just look at the pressure anyway. If necessary, print out a pressure/temperature scale…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
