Looks solid and is well made. Pretty easy to assemble. The instructions for attaching the roof pieces could have been more detailed, but the overall assembly took about 30 minutes. I wish there wasn't so much packaging and styrofoam, it was redundant and didn't feel necessary for the parts included.

At first I was very impressed with this product, but after it worked for about a month and a half, the first rain fell this week. I don't know exactly how the water seeps in, I think through the wooden roof, but my street cats got wet, as did their bed and the little blanket I keep for them there. It makes me very sad because they really like the house, they sleep in it all the time, but during the rain when it was supposed to keep them dry, they got wet and I was very sad.

The wood is not weatherproof and the walls are paper thin. I'm so confused and wondering if some of these four or five star reviews are from someone who actually got the rubbish.
