Perfect fit for my shock pump

I don't know what happened to my original so I ordered this to replace my Rock shocks on my bike. Fits perfectly. Dampers need to be adjusted!

No function 100%

An annoying but necessary detail.

Thought Rock Shox needed a proprietary adapter to tighten the rear shock. Why? WHY?!? Not only that, if the tiny o-ring on it breaks, you'll have to buy a new one. However, it works well, is fairly cheap, and is easy and quick to buy. So this adapter gets 5 stars and Rock Shox gets 1 star.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • are unreliable

Required if you have a Rock Shox Dual Air Fork

Should come with the Rock Shox air pump but it doesn't. This is necessary when you need to add air to a suspension fork with two air springs. I mistakenly assumed that the Rock Shox branded air pump was made for Rock Shox air forks. But the pump is a regular manual pump with a Schrader valve but marked Rock Shox.

You must have this adapter if you have a .

If you have a Rock Shox Monarch Plus shock you will need to purchase this adapter. This is required to charge the IFP camera to 250psi as instructed. If you find a leak or rebuild your shock, you will need this adapter to connect the high pressure pump to the shock. I disassembled my shock before I knew it needed this adapter ordered here from Revain. After I reset the IFP chamber to 250psi, the rear shock behaved correctly again. phew

  • Everything is fine!

Well made adapter in parts and components

Product well finished and finished. The knurled knob makes plugging and unplugging easier than my old adapter that I lost. I was hoping this would also fit my old Marzocchi fork, but it doesn't exactly fit. It doesn't get inserted deep enough for a proper connection, but allows you to partially screw it in and hold it in place for ventilation of the connector, but isn't ideal for fine-tuning. This gadget does not claim to work with these forks, so I do not blame it and do not exclude it from…

O-ring too small for Vivid Air

This part is a joke. I bought this for my light air shock. Which has a terrible design. This specialty tool is designed to charge a small secondary air tank up to 200psi per the Rockshox manual. The only problem is that the o-ring is too small. I was able to get the piggyback can to about 100psi when the o-ring ruptured and started leaking. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a bunch of different o-rings. The one that worked was about 4mm in inner diameter and 1.5mm in diameter. Then it…

ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK

This tool is needed to fill the IFP with air when servicing / restoring the shock absorber. The problem is they say that after filling you have to unscrew the pump attached to the adapter BUT it will hold the schrader valve until about half the air comes out which is useless. You buy a special tool and IT SHOULD WORK! This is a bull. Someone has to develop a tool that works. I had this with SRAM Rockshox components. I found an old Fox TALAS fork that I replaced with a Rockshox fork and it's…

Worked well for IPF service.

Used in maintenance of rt3 deluxe monarch and rt monarch. Worked well both times. Push it straight in and very carefully. I could see it twisted easily, it's a very soft metal so try not to twist the threads. As previously mentioned, disconnect the adapter and pump as a unit rather than disconnecting the pump from the adapter first. Carefully unscrew it again, trying not to pull the hose too hard. Unfortunately Rockshox got us and you need to buy this proprietary tool to service your IPF. I…
