RockShox Reverb Standard Bleed Kit Review

This is a must have tool kit for bleeding a Rockshox Reverb Stealth Seatpost. The syringes are a weak point in this set: one of the syringes broke under very moderate pressure, accidentally applied while I was holding it and squeezing too hard. It still works, but is now suspected of being used as a pressure sprayer. Be careful with these syringes and they should last as long as you own your reverb. The rest of the parts were perfect and worked as well or even better than advertised.

At first I thought the price for a pair of syringes and 4 ounces was a bit high. Liquids. But after using it I can say it was worth it. The hose fittings on the syringes are well made and way better than most bleed kits I've used. The pumping process only takes a few minutes and there is no mess. Bleeding reverberation is much easier than bleeding brakes. Anyone can do it. And since reverbs require a lot of attention, chances are you'll be using this kit a lot. Think of it as buying a new tool.

I bought this kit to bleed a double lock on my Cannondale. Before that I had never pumped anything, so I spent the money on branded parts. It worked fine. However, I think you can get by with all in one kits and any half price 2.5w shock oil. There's just nothing special about it. With a dropper or block, always add liquid, not drain it. (The system doesn't need to dissipate heat, so it doesn't matter if there's a slight buildup of water in the line.) Bleeding is simply adjusting the outlets…
