Great wheels at a reasonable price

I'm in a roller derby league racing on a tennis court. The surface we ride on is like sandpaper and really rolls away from other wheels I've used that are less stiff. These are really great wheels for the treacherous surface we ride on and they feel solid and well made. I can even reach hockey stops with these wheels. Surprisingly, due to the stiffness of the wheels, I don't feel all the bumps on the surface. Some of my friends have mentioned that they are good for skate parks. FYI, I had toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Disappointed with Revain. The description clearly says 8 wheels! I only received 4 bikes and they weren't packaged properly. They were just dangling wheels in a bag with no packaging. Very deceptive! The listed price for these wheels is $49, which is what you would pay for a set of 4 wheels for this brand at most retailers. So I think this ad is misleading and these wheels are not real. In any case, I have to send the wheels back and order new wheels. Let's see how it goes the second time. Iโ€ฆ

Great color! HOT PINK

Pink Hot Pink, just what I wanted. The batch I received had slight bumps where the roller bones were imprinted on the center of the wheel, which in no way affected the smoothness on the hardwood floor. I gave it all five stars as it was just a cosmetic issue and had nothing to do with build quality. They look amazing on my custom moxie skates! Small note: I had to run them on the sidewalk so they weren't so slippery, after that they worked great and held up great on the hardwood floor.

Great wheels for skates, skateboards and scooters

Great wheels for indoor riding. Mt Chicago Skates are over 10 years old and the wheels have never been great. Now I have great wheels with these. They cost more than ice skates lol. The bearings were difficult to fit into the wheel as others have written. I personally don't have the tools to install them and don't want to invest, so I took them to a skateboard shop and they installed them for me. I used bearings from skateboard stores because I'm new and didn't realize there are 2 bearings perโ€ฆ

Excellent investment! Best in Sport

These wheels are great! I put them on my Moxi Jungle skates because the outer wheels that came with them were too grippy and slow for the rink. Roller bones glide across the floor like in a dream! I can get good speed with minimal/moderate boost. The 101a were slick initially but they caved in quickly and I was able to cross etc without losing too much traction. I was able to use the same bearings as the original 58mm street wheels. (If they were pressed in at the local skate shop I wouldn't be

The best steering wheel in this price range.

1 year update overview. I've been driving the same pair for almost a year now. 90% ice rink and 10% skating in the park. These wheels still roll well. With periodic rotation, they wear out very evenly. Apart from a horrible flat spot on one wheel when braking hard, I had no problems with it. This is a really tough bike and you will feel it with your feet if the surface is not very smooth. I love how they glide when I want them to and they bark nicely when making hockey stops and gliding overโ€ฆ
