Description of πŸ₯– MIZATTO Large Wood Rolling Pin with Thickness Guide Rings for Baking Pizza, Pasta, Pie Crust, Cookies - Kitchen Pastry Dough Roller (23"x2.5")

Made of hardwood, 23.1"(length)*2.5"(diameter), weighs 500g, the rolling pin is sturdy and durable. Smart Rolling Pin: The rolling pin comes with built-in markings so if you don't have a silicone rolling mat with printed and numbered rings on it you can still tell exactly how big around your rolled dough is. 3 Rolling Pin Spacers: There are 3 sets of numbered thickness disks(1/16’’, 1/4’’and 3/8’’ in options) to help you make cookies and pie crust the same thickness instead of ending up with dough that's thicker in the middle and thin on the edges, easy to change out. Easy to Clean: With grip handle, the rolling pin is easy to use and clean, you can clean it with damp cloth or just a simple scrub brush. Great Kitchen Tool: The wooden rolling pin is designed to make rolling out cookie dough easy and fun, great kitchen tool for rolling out pizza dough, pie crusts, tarts, and cookies, also great for clay work.

The wooden spacers broke within a month

I like the concept but the spacers don't last long. If there were two of them and they both cracked. Find a rolling pin with silicone pads.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Always the perfect thickness

Love the idea of adding gauge wheels. My Christmas cookies were the same thickness for the first time. What a great addition to the rolling pin.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Okay, but the handle is shaking

The design is good but the quality is not very good. I have a screw on one of the rolling pin's handles that doesn't hold it in place vertically, which is why the handle wobbles when rolling. Not a big problem, but annoying when using the rolling pin. It's still usable, but I wish it had no hesitation. Apart from that everything is alright.

Pros
  • I'm waiting for
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Nice discs but fragile

A nice wooden instrument but it has some flaws. Bought because of the thickness of the wheels. and after just one use the disc broke off so badly that it could no longer be used. Just once!, I'm a lazybones. I saw in a previous review that the knobs and cylinder worked independently, but they didn't. Damn. I would use it again but the hard drive is so damaged that I can't use it. WHAT? Just a use, not cool.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots

For evenly thick dough

I actually have this for rolling clay not dough. So far this has worked great. The knobs unscrew from the main body of the roller and you can insert a wooden disc on each side and then secure them by screwing the knobs back in. Discs 3 pairs. The discs allow you to roll out dough (or clay) to the same thickness. The wood feels strong and well finished. I haven't had it for a long time, but now I can recommend it.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
