Windows 10 plug and play + better reception for $$$

I bought this to boost my dismal WiFi speed upstairs in my house as the router is in the basement. (Before anyone says anything, my Buffalo wireless adapter broke and I needed a replacement before I could try the Wi-Fi extender). I have to say I'm impressed. It was plug and play on Windows 10, 8 and 7. It increased my speed as expected, and tuning the antennas made a noticeable difference. I pack this adapter in its original box and take it with me to various devices because it's so good, evenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Modern

Minimal setup with Windows 8.1 and dual high gain antennas allows you to see many more available networks with higher signal levels than single antenna designs or built into a USB flash drive. like the device. It worked well and reliably for me - no fallout. I took off a star because it doesn't have an "activity" LED, which I use as a visual reference to keep it running, especially when my computer wakes up from sleep. Sometimes the USB ports on my computer won't wake up, and it's nice to knowโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Working wireless adapter, if not entirely solid.

This thing seems to be working great. It comes with a USB extender which is good as it can be placed on a desk rather than on the back of the computer directly against the wall. I tend to have good ping and throughput. The downside of having it on your desk is that it can fall off of there. A few weeks after receiving it, I accidentally dropped it on the floor and the plastic case fell off, leaving only the circuit board and antennas. The case cannot be returned. Of course it was my fault forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • There are problems

This little kid saved me a lot of frustration with my Lenovo Yoga 2 and its unforgivably awful internal Wi-Fi adapter, which can be twenty feet from a router and only two gets stripes. I love the computer the most and don't want to return it just for Wi-Fi, although good Wi-Fi is a MUST. With this adapter I was about 75 feet from the router and had a full signal even with two extension cords (6 and 3 feet) plugged in. Unless you keep it on your desk right next to your computer, an extensionโ€ฆ

Look mom, no wires!

I have a house with a store about 70 feet from me. Both buildings are clad in aluminum panels. My computer in the store has built-in wireless circuits. He dropped the connection and couldn't authenticate himself securely. Register with RNH. The XP Home driver was on the CD and the installation went smoothly. Initially, I plugged the RNX directly into the computer's USB port. The signal strength on my home router now showed significantly improved 4 out of 5 bars. However, when choosing a router,

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

AMAZING RANGE! on network adapters

what the heck with poor visibility guys? First let me say this is the BEST wireless USB adapter I have. In the last five months I have ordered three different types of wireless USB adapters (PREMIERTEK POWERLINK HERMES 11BGN USB 1W HI-POWER ADAPTER 2X9DBI ANTENNA, Etekcity High Power 802.11 B/N/G 300M USB Wireless 1000mw Wifi Network Adapter with Dual 6dBi Antenna and two additional 13 dBi antennas as well as Rosewill USB 2.0 wireless adapter with 5 dBi external antenna RNX-N180UBE) for myโ€ฆ
