not exactly as advertised

Customers beware, another terrible Rothco product. This product is neither anti-fog nor anti-scratch. I waited a bit to write a review to give the product some time to use. I'm by no means an avid ATV rider, but I'll be taking it around my property. I'm not rough with these glasses and there are scratches on the edges of the lenses. Fog lights are obvious, these things fog up quite often. Spend the extra money and buy something better. Also, don't make my mistake, read the product description…

Best Value in Airsoft

Bought these for about $20 and they are well worth it. I use them for airsoft over a half mesh mask. I agree with the previous statements about wearing glasses underneath. No problems with OTG and my glasses frame is a bit big. The tint looks dark from the outside but doesn't interfere with your vision. I wouldn't recommend them (or tinted ones) for night airsoft though. Pros: Good breathability (anti-fog) Light OTG (on ski goggles) Comfortable on the face Tint good for UV protection, does not…

I LOVE THESE FOR AIRSOFT

Finally smaller tinted airsoft goggles. I wear a mesh mask for my lower face and they fit great. The shade is just enough, very light on the inside but looking darkened on the outside. Cold. Not like all big flat glasses. rounded lenses, great vision in all directions and lots of big vents on top and bottom, I can even see the bottom vents. The rounded lenses bounce off the BB and the strap is high quality. retains its elasticity and the tape is thinner. it helps if you put about 5 things on…

They fog up very quickly on the east coast!. in October!

If you are serious about airsoft, don't buy these goggles. All claims of it not fogging come from people using it in dry conditions west of the Mississippi. I bought these last minute to use at a major tournament in North Carolina except the photo was a bit misleading (they look like ski goggles not tactical "goggles") they were useless I had to replace the foam peeling off the vents and foam around the frame and I ended up putting them on my helmet and hanging over my eyes like a visor. They…

Finally a real anti-fog!

Finally! Glasses that don't fog up! I've already done 2 points. One was pretty cheap, but it fogged up like crazy. The second was actually Rothco glasses, I think they were Ventecs. It didn't fog up as quickly or as much BUT eventually they fogged up and made shooting impossible. But these. These glasses work! They are very well ventilated and the only fog I've ever seen was when I sat still for a long time. The fog cleared as soon as I set off again. Keep in mind that this happens with just…

Rothco SWAT TEC goggles

This review is from the point of view of an airsoft player. I've heard on forums that even companies that made goggles specifically for this purpose (like ESS) no longer had a reliable platform and no longer needed Rx inserts. Well, the color impressed me. They're so dark you can't see my eyes from the outside, period. But if you look through the glasses, it's almost the right amount of shade from the sun. Inside, Low Light is perfect again. Boonie hat, balaclava and my glasses, I look like GI…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things

Amazing for the price

These glasses are a little smaller than I expected and don't fit my glasses perfectly. My glasses don't have a thin metal frame, but they don't have such a large plastic frame either. They are medium sized, made of square metal. When I put these goggles on they bounce and the left and right sides of the goggles (where the strap connects) bounce off my head leaving room. So if you want 100% tightness, keep an eye on it. It's not uncomfortable and I can certainly handle it, but be aware they may…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Good product but there are some things I don't like

Too heavily colored to wear indoors or in heavily shaded areas. Peripheral vision is somewhat obscured from the side and above. The foam around the goggles is fairly thin/cheap/airy, not spongy like you might expect (it's not that much for them, and that foam feels like it's going to wear down or with time/the elements decay). It doesn't fit my face well, not comfortable for me. They're pretty big and obvious. They stick out a lot further from the face than I thought, due to the rather large…
