The bike was shipped to Hawaii undamaged. It was 80% assembled, only the handlebars, seat, reflectors, basket and training wheels had to be assembled. A cheap tool was supplied to assemble the above items. But I used my own to avoid scratches and bruises on the joints. The instructions were clear and no parts were missing. We grandparents bought this Royal Baby bike after showing many pictures of bikes to our almost 4 year old granddaughter. She immediately chose this one.
