Description of 🛠️ RPS Mercruiser Bravo Transom Seal Repair Kit: Gimbal Bearing, Exhaust, u-Joint, Shift Bellow | Replaces 30-803100T1

Fits Bravo outdrives (1983 and up) and Blackhawk outdrives (1994-1995). Replaces OEM kit number 30-803100T1. Includes: U-joint, exhaust, shift bellows. Stainless steel hose clamps. Water inlet hose. Gasket and o-rings. Sealed gimbal bearing. Most of the newer drives come from the factory with the new sealed bearing design. This kit has the sealed bearing so no need to align the grease hole in older models. Makes installation easier and you never have to grease your gimbal bearing again! You can use this newer design sealed bearing in place of your older style greaseable bearing.

Half a season over

I installed this pre-season kit, now August 1st, and the driveshaft boot broke. The shifter cable boots are rotted and cracked and all the clamps are rusted! DON'T BUY WASTE! By the way, the gimbal bearing got wet, so toast too!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Get what you pay for

Buy a famous brand. It will save you money and heartache. If you pay less than $100, you get it. Purchased on 08/19/2019. Today is July 2, 2020. Fresh water boat only. The last brand exhaust lasted 6 years and only had cracks. The shifter housing cracked a bit when I replaced all the bellows in August 2019. Less than a year.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrades
