Used under rug on linoleum floors. Slipping did occur when I stepped on it PRIOR to putting my rug over it. It was quite comical and slick on the floor. After heavy rug was placed on top, padding remained in place and provided ample amount of cushion. This was used under rug for a baby that has learned to sit and beginning to crawl.I am pleased with the quality of the padding as well.

I have learned over the years that you do not buy the rug pads they sell on websites that sell rugs! You go to Ebay and pay the 3rd of the price and get the same thing! I've ordered several of these over the years and they are perfect!

I bought this pad to protect my wood floors. It is just right. Soft on the bottom next to the floor and light texture on top to keep the rug in place. Highly recommend.

Thankfully I could cut it. I actually used this with another rug top that has super expensive rug pad systems. This works 100% as a replacement at a fraction of the cost. Will definitely be buying these from now on.

Product was good but it slips n slides on my hardwood floor. I needed something that would stick to either carpet or floor but it slides too much. Otherwise the measurements were exact. I have the 8x10

I have hardwood floors in an old 1940s house. This pad is underneath the rug in my bedroom and my feet are so much warmer on the rug than on the bare floor.

This is the second time I've bought this for a large area rug and I love this pad. It's got a great feel under my wool carpets that protects the rug and the floor without adding thickness or too much padding.The funny thing is, the pad that came is not the size I ordered--but it is the exact size of my rug! I have bought this carpet pad twice. I specifically looked for a 7'10" by 10'. The first one was 8x10 and I had to cut 2 inches off the length which was difficult but not impossible. I purchased it again for another rug, again 7'10' by 10'. This time it was too long and not wide enough and cut crooked as well. This rug pad is so good. It was easy to put down and it feels fantastic walking on the rug with this under it. It makes the rug feel plush. It had to be trimmed for the rug which was easy to do with a box cutter. This is far better than any other rug pad I’ve ever used. I have dining room furniture on the rug so I have no concerns about the pad’s grip.

I love this pad. I got the 1/4" to put under my rug on a tile floor. It was plenty thick enough and very soft. It made a huge difference. If the pad was any thicker, my rug would have sat up too high. Such a great price compared to others I've seen.

So, I'll have to cut the pad so that it's not showing under the pad. Not necessarily a negative though. Otherwise, the pad feels good under the rug and gives the comfort I sought. I'm pleased.

The rug pad added nice cushioning/softness underneath my area rug. I am very, very happy with it! It doesn’t stick to the hardwood floor, but the weight of the couch and coffee table keeps the rug in place. The pad makes the area rug feel super plush.
