🔲 Rugged Ridge 11401.32 Grille Insert, Black: The Perfect Fit for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Review

I followed the instructions but the grid was very loose. The rails that press against the back of the grill should be very firm. I ended up having to drill a second set of holes after the initial install because once the front clamp was installed on the Jeep, the grille came loose depending on how the plastic flexed.

This grill is without a doubt the most beautiful. Anyone who complained about the rattling obviously didn't press the brackets against it before drilling. Mine isn't moving. The only issue I've found with this grille is that the top L-shaped portion of the bracket barely fits over the front of your Jeep when reinstalled. I had to remove the grille and even cut a piece of plastic under the hood that got in the way.

Very few installation problems, but it looks fantastic. It's fairly easy to drill and install the frame and bracket yourself, but I've seen what other reviews have in mind with reinstallation issues. When you need an insert, just stop looking and buy this one. It takes less than 30 minutes to install and the results look just as good as anything else you'll be looking at. I didn't use zip ties, the included hardware works fine if you just think about what you're doing. Install it with the idea that the tension of the spring will hold the grille to the front panel.
