Returned item does not match the vehicle. The seller refunded half of the purchase price. Unfortunately, not all items were returned. The item was taken out of the box and quickly put back in the box after an installation issue with all the parts that came with it. Never had any problems with returns. Be careful with the seller.

Cork gasket included. If you stick it on the lid it will stay in place. I had to drill a head for the inlet side of the mounting bolt. It was easy. For the header holes on the manifold side, I had to purchase various hardware (bolts and washers). Looks a lot better than the plastic cover I had.

This looks like a great product. There are only two mounting holes on the driver's side. Mine has four from the factory. The two bolt holes and grooves are too small for factory bolts and nuts. This will not fit a 1982 Cj 258 4.2 liter engine without some modifications. Update: I was disappointed at first but I made a change (YouTube video tutorial) and everything works fine, no leaks.

The kit does not include spikeless rocker arm bridges which replace the spiked bridges used to hold the original plastic valve cover down and for some reason spiked replacement bridges were supplied. . Also, one of the PCV valve holes appeared to have been reamed more than the other, so there is some play in the bushing and PCV, but I'm hoping the additional RTV will close it up. Looks good but requires some sanding on end holes to fit, need to drill and cut 2 holes on driver side according to instructions (about 1/ 2 deep inches). I chose to reuse the passenger side fasteners, but you can try using kits, but they won't do if you want to keep the standard hole sizes. I cut the shim for a better Felpro. It also seems like they upgraded the kit to have the correct tipping bridges (they don't have posts for example) so that was a pleasant surprise.

Bought used/like new not brand new. The valve cover was in new condition. It has never been installed. The valve cover has good coloring and was flat as expected. That looks great. Some of the holes were offset 1/32-1/16 and I had to ream holes to make them larger. The product itself was good and just what I expected.
