🚗 Rugged Ridge 12987.09 Floor Liner: Front/Rear; Black, 76-86 Jeep CJ-7 / Wrangler 87-95 / YJ Review

I bought these for a '91 Wrangler and they didn't fit at all. But after a small cut with a utility knife I was able to get a good fit. I also removed the rear seat belts to make installation easier.

These mats filled every little crevice really well! The rear mats have indentations and a place for the seat belt base, as if pouring "liquid mat" on the floor, it's perfect! I just took them out of the box and threw them in like a glove.

After buying the front floor mats which were excellent I bought the rear ones for the 82 CJ. I was shocked how bad the landing was. The centering at the rear of the car is broken, as if completely ignoring the factory lines of the floor, the attachment of the cross member and seat belt to the floor. Even worse alignment with the seats, driver and passenger side behind the seat rails and front seat belt in the buckle, it doesn't even fit. This should have been an easy task to sculpt. I suggest…

According to the product description, the luggage rack fits my 1992 Jeep Wrangler. It wasn't even close. It was about 24 inches is too wide. I will return the pads. I have come to the conclusion that you are better off going to a hardware store to buy larger parts for your car. Now I don't pay shipping costs. I wish these people would get together, I don't think measuring the liner would be too difficult.

I installed them in 79 CJ7. Liked the fit! The front was crisp and the rear followed the rear contour. They bypass the seat belts perfectly and are spaced correctly if you have a console. I bought these mats based on the reviews people have written for the front pair only. I have a carpeted 89 YJ that has been out for a long time and these mats fit just right. I got the liner and went to install it, you need a razor blade to cut holes for the seat belts but it was easy. The product is a harder heavy plastic rather than a flexible rubber mat. That's not a problem and serves its purpose, you just can't see it in the photo. It doesn't go all the way to the rear seat floorboards, but ends roughly where the seat cushion ends, so you don't really see when you look at the back seat, you still see the bottom of the jeep.
