Works well with shocks, struts and suspension

Tried to buy the right ones (company listed correctly but Revain listed wrong :/) but they save lives. You no longer have to bang your head on a hatchback because it opens slowly or incompletely. Such a simple thing but man it's so beautiful.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

I wish I had these sooner!

Those who rated it as bad because of "poor" equipment or because of improper installation of hatches. These screws only need to be tightened. Took me 10 minutes to install them, what a breeze and my sunroof finally opens and STAYS open on my 2013 Crosstrek XV! worth $$$

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

NOT COMPATIBLE with Subaru Hatchback!

The Subaru Crosstrek sunroof is too heavy for the damper to open to the soft stop at the top. It stops with such a loud "bang" that I have to guide it with my hand to stop it before it falls apart. In addition, one of the main screw heads broke off during assembly and is now stuck. I need a special tool or service to get this. Just bad quality.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Decent elevators, with one caveat.

Not bad in general. They aren't as strong as other reviews have claimed and they don't raise the tailgate as much or as quickly as the reviews do. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. But the bolts that attach them to the body are pretty cheap and flimsy. One of the screws was tight but continued to spin freely until it broke! Now I have to pay my shop to drill and rethread it so I can use the original Subaru bolt. Again, these elevators are decent, but not great. If you buy them…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Security

I bought these for our 2013 Subaru Crosstrek as OEM kits never last long and I noticed that they started to fail when we bought this one used car. Having owned the Impreza I already knew how to replace them but I didn't want to OEM as I have changed 3 pairs in the 10 years that I have owned the Impreza. They claim to be better. At first glance they appear a bit shorter than the OEM when fully extended. The mount/bracket is thicker (sturdier) than the OEM and has a nicer black finish. I put one…

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged
