Excellent grip! - my new review

Bought these because they are supposed to be echo friendly to my brand new oak hardwood floor. I am hoping they hold up and don't break down the finish on my floor. If they do I will repost an update but so far so good. They are very thin but boy do they ever hold my kitchen rugs in place, especially the high traffic one by my back door. I am a happy camper so far! I was afraid my rug would still slip around once it was on top but nope, hasn't moved an inch! I am very happy with this rug pad.

Pros
  • I'm returning for the all-rubber version. I think the jute makes it a bit hard.
Cons
  • May not fit all rug sizes

Works great! in my review

This Jute pad works amazingly well! It doesn't move even when my 70 lb dog is running and playing on it! The rug on top stays put and I'm really happy with it! The fact that it is natural is the reason I gave it a try. It didn't smell at all, was so easy to trim and laid flat right out of the package. I highly recommend!

Pros
  • 10 YEAR WARRANTY: RUGPADUSA guarantees our pads are free from manufacturing defects and will perform as represented.
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for outdoor use

Inexpensive solution for small rugs

These rug pads are perfect for small rugs that just need a pad to prevent slipping. I use these pads for all my smaller bedroom rugs. They are easy to lay down and/or trim. They do not stick to the floor.

Pros
  • Non-slip properties keep you safe
Cons
  • Could be prone to mold or mildew in damp environments

So happy I bought this one. It’s a little more than some other rug grips but others just weren’t working . I bought a 5 foot round for a rug in our kitchen that our puppy loves to jump and slide on .It was constantly getting bunched up , sliding ,driving me crazy putting it back in order multiple times a day ,starting to destroy the rug and I had a non slip pad under it I bought at bed bath and beyond that was not the right size , cheap quality but not really cheap price. One reason I got this…

Pros
  • Helps your rug retain its shape
Cons
  • Could be prone to developing indentations from heavy furniture

Holds throw rugs in place

The jute and natural rubber rug pads meet the requirements of our hardwood floor’s warranty. They are easily cut to the appropriate size and work great to hold our rugs

Pros
  • Provides insulation
Cons
  • May not provide enough traction on polished or waxed floors

Best rug pad ever: my feedback

Of all the rug pads I've purchased over the years (a lot!), this product is by far the best. Zero odor, very easy to cut to size (if necessary), sturdy yet lightweight. Adheres perfectly to our newly refinished hardwood floors and leaves zero residue. I bought lots of them for every area rug in the house.

Pros
  • Made from eco-friendly materials
Cons
  • Might not be compatible with heated flooring systems

It's just what I wanted.

We have a hallway "runner" rug that was continuously slipping and sliding around. We installed the Eco-Friendly Non-Slip Rug Pad and the issue vanished. The rug stays put, even under the continuous testing of two active toddlers. Good buy, fair price, and it does the job it is intended to do.

Pros
  • Soft and comfortable to walk on
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for use with certain types of rug tape

Finally my rug is staying put

Bought a entry rug at my front door. Tried a no slip rug pad and strips from a home store. Nothing kept the rug in place especially when my crazy dog ran through. I put this pad under the rug and it hasn't moved even when my dog goes nuts when there is someone at the door. No odor to it and I easily cut it to fit. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Rugs, Pads & Protectors
Cons
  • Could be difficult to install on larger, heavier carpets

Absolutely awesome!

I got this for two runners to be used on my hardwood floor. Both 2.5' wide, both 3/4" thick (so, fairly heavy) ; one 8' and one 4'. I was so amazed at the grippiness that I said "holy crap!" aloud, upon stepping and wiggling around on the rug with the pad. I have dogs who like to do their rolling around on the rugs, and am so far still impressed! Fair warning, shake the pad out and prepare the vacuum, because it sheds little bits everywhere upon first receiving it. But once it's down, there's…

Pros
  • LOW PROFILE: Ultra low profile rug pad, perfect for high traffic areas and entryways.
Cons
  • May require frequent adjustment to stay in place

Nontoxic grip! for my opinion

I use these for my smaller rugs that are prone to slipping. For larger rugs I use thicker, wool pads. The natural rubber pads provide exceptional grip, are long lasting, do not leave marks on the floor and amazingly non-toxic. Some reviews mention the smell… It does not bother me at all and we are a scent-free, scent sensitive household. It is not that strong on delivery (anyone that has a natural rubber product knows the natural smell) and it fades quickly. Non of my pads have had a noticeable

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Could cause allergic reactions in those with rubber or jute allergies

There is still slip

The pad fit my rug well and provides some cushion. But the main reason I bought it was so the rug doesn’t slide on the hardwood floors. It provides some anti-slip but unfortunately, it still slides some on the floor and the rug slides on the pad a little so I’m constantly adjusting. I didn’t return it but definitely would not buy again.

Pros
  • Can be used for indoor and outdoor rugs
Cons
  • Could be difficult to return or exchange if unsatisfied

not exactly totally non slip

I don't think there is a 100% non slip pad for throw rugs. This products works great & does eliminate a LOT of slipping. With dogs in the house, they will challenge every product that isn't glued to the floor! All in all I'm happy with this product & do recommend it & I will buy it for future area rugs for use with my laminate floors. So far no issues with discoloration, etc.

Pros
  • Made from high-quality materials
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in homes with small children

Does what it’s supposed to

I’ve been using this for two years and have had no problems with it at all. This rug gripper is under a thin Kilim type of rug runner, and holds it in place very well.

Pros
  • Does exactly as stated ; non slip!
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other non-slip rug pads

Keeps rug from moving

This was exactly what we were looking for!We put a rug in our 10 yr old sons room but it would not stay put and he kept slipping around. We couldn't figure out why it was ALWAYS out of position, because boys never like to play rough <cough>. We needed something to keep it in place and this pad worked perfectly. It was delivered rolled up but quickly flattened out.

Pros
  • Doesn't have any unpleasant odors
Cons
  • Could attract dust and debris over time

Keeps rugs from slipping on slick floors!

After dealing with sticky residue left behind on my floors by man-made polymer no-slip pads, I bought two Nature's Grip - 3'x5' - 1/16" Thick Rubber and Jute Eco-Friendly Non-Slip Rug Pads to keep small area rugs from slipping on luxury vinyl plank flooring. They definitely do the job- I put the pads under low-pile rugs that are used under rolling office chairs, and I can scurry about on my chair with virtually no rug movement (basically for the first time EVER). I gave these pads three stars…

Pros
  • Doesn't curl or move around
Cons
  • Could take up more space than necessary under certain rugs

Best rug pad ever good for me

I've tried pretty much every rug pad available and they've all been junk. Vinyl pads, felt pads, tapes, special corner anchors. garbage that belongs in the landfill. This rubber-dipped jute, though, does the job really well. It's keeping both flat weave and cut pile carpets in place on both hardwood and porcelain tile floors. It's easy to cut and the pad can be a few inches shy in all directions and still get the business done. If it were a guy I'd have a huge crush on it because it's just so…

Pros
  • Worth spending the extra money. Great product.
Cons
  • Could wear out quickly with heavy foot traffic

No smell and great on hardwood and laminate floors!

I was concerned about this rug gripper having a weird smell or not working on hardwood floors, as many reviewers mentioned. However, I have not noticed any smell and it has not budged even with my dogs sprinting to and from the end of the hallways to the rug. Definitely worth the price especially with natural elements and not all man made synthetics. Bought a second one in a different size for another rug and did not notice any smell and have not had any slipping issues on the laminate floor…

Pros
  • Makes vacuuming easier
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for use in homes with pets

Out-stands My Husky

I have a Husky that LAUNCHES off of the rug everyday. Multiple times a day I’d go and move it just for it to be thrown into the furniture again. This gripper isn’t sticky at all and hasn’t hurt the wood flooring in over the week that we’ve had it. The rug hasn’t moved an inch, even when I took the vacuum over it. This is by far the best rug gripper especially for the price they are asking. I was very hesitant to buy it but I’m very glad that I did.

Pros
  • Protects your floor from scratches
Cons
  • Could potentially stain or discolor flooring over time

Not creepy! for my opinion

I purchased the 3'x5' size of this rug pad for use under a flat cotton entry rug and have used it for about 3 weeks. It is the very best rug pad that I have ever used. The rug is flat thin cotton and the floor underneath is super glossy tile and NOTHING moves. The pad doesn't move on the floor and the rug doesn't creep off the pad. The pad at first seemed a little pricey, but in the end it is worth every penny. (I think of this every day when I have to adjust my kitchen rug which is on a…

Pros
  • Doesn't contain harmful chemicals
Cons
  • Could create a tripping hazard if not properly secured

Great for jute/wool woven rugs

Purchased for placing under a 5×9 PB jute/wool woven rug. Works FANTASTIC! Before using this rug pad, my rug slid everywhere on the ceramic tile due to my playful Great Dane. Now, it doesn't even budge! Came perfectly sized, but would be easy to trim. Mild rubber smell only noticable for a few hours after unpackaging. This will be my go-to rug pad for life!

Pros
  • Doesn't require adhesive to hold in place
Cons
  • Could become damaged in high-traffic areas
