Works better than I expected

After some testing I wasn't sure if this would help avoid blisters in long, hot events, especially if you have to do a lot of running. In previous similar situations, I've had regular toe and heel blisters. However, with a thick layer of RunGoo along with socks, I managed to run and walk almost 2 consecutive days without blisters, despite a very hot and hard workout. This experience convinced me that RunGoo is definitely a good anti-blister remedy, at least for me.

Ridiculously chic packaging

Without the ridiculously chic packaging I would give this product a rating of 4.5-5. The best product for calluses on my feet that I have used other than band-aids. BUT - the applicator is so poorly redesigned that the result is a greasy mess and wasted product. Although the advice to dry your hands with the inside of your socks is a fantastic idea, if my hands get dirty anyway, why do I need that stupid pimple?!?! It only gets dirty, and since it's not flat, it stays dirty unless you rub it…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

  • sad packaging

BEST Corn Prevention! Far Superior to Glide

BEST Bladder Protection! Run a half marathon with feet and legs submerged for almost 0.10 miles (39 seconds) for mile 2. Shoes and socks got wet. finished the race in 1:45 without a single hot spot or blister. have been using the product religiously since that race years ago. Not a single problem. Much better than Glide

Pros
  • Feels Good
Cons
  • Interval

I took this before leading the scout team at Philmont High Adventure Camp, 100 miles mountain hike with 80% of it under 45 - pound pack. Blisters and chafing are the biggest health problems in middle age, I figured it wouldn't hurt to bring some along. I poured about an ounce into a ziplock bag and it was MAGIC. Every hot spot on the crew's legs became coated with this substance and disappeared. This saved me from a single blister or foot problem for 2 weeks - in retrospect they charge a lot…

Works great but stains a white shirt.

. I use it on both my toes and nipples when running and it really works as advertised. However, he permanently soiled a pair of white running t-shirts. Neither bleach nor stain remover will touch it. I can't say anything about colored shirts. With that in mind I live in Central Florida and the hot humid summers make this a must have for blisters and irritation on long runs. I switched to this one because the Glide just wasn't good enough, especially for avoiding blisters on 10-mile runs.

The best callus prophylaxis I have ever used!

OMG. Where have you been. I wear sneakers so my feet are softer than a baby's bottom and I get blisters easily. I have constantly treated blisters on my feet on one or both legs but no more. I apply it generously before putting my socks on (only where I tend to blister) and then rub the residue from my toe into the inside of the sock where the back of the shoe usually irritates me. I HAVE STARTED USING THIS PRODUCT! This is my third tube in about a year and I am a big believer in this product…

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Helps very well against calluses even with WET feet!

Wow, this stuff really works, even on WET, calloused feet. Training for my first ultramarathon, a 50k run, I started getting blisters after two hours of running. I've tried moleskin, blister bandages, petroleum jelly, and so on. It didn't matter what shoes or socks I wore. When I found out that the race involved 7 river crossings (!) and my feet wouldn't be dry for more than 5 hours, I knew I had to try something new. I know you should never try (or at least rely on) anything new while racing…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Quick guide

I have used what looks like a blister strip deodorant to prevent blistering and it has had some success but was still plenty on long runs. Switched to RunGoo on recommendation and the blisters are gone, even helped soften and remove old dry blisters. When I ran the marathon, I still had the two smaller ones on my feet, so I had 4 starts instead of 5. At less than 22 miles it worked great. This is a cream that you apply liberally to the areas on your legs where you get blisters. Don't smear it…
