I'm new to this business but I like them

Just started using them, sprinkled grass over them and then hay. Girls get used to the styling. Try a few of these and see which one is better

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I have doubts

seems to help with less breakage

I had to trim them down to fit my nest boxes and the chicks avoided them at first but now they use them with no problem and I have a lot less broken eggs so it is such a win-win situation.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not trendy

More Cracked Eggs for Cages and Accessories

Switched to these in hopes of fewer cracked eggs and easier cleaning of nesting material. The number of eggs cracked has almost tripled, and the hens continued to throw them out of the nest box and lay their eggs on a hard surface. I had to scrape so many dried egg yolks out of the box. It has been less than a month and I switched back to nesting liners.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Flexible, takes the shape of a bucket nest.

I like that they are flexible as I use them in a 5 gallon bucket. Chickens have a hard time adapting to the texture. I had a few left over so I placed them next to the feeder to give them a steady exposure. I like that they are easy to clean and not dusty or dirty like shavings and straw. So if the chickens don't use them, it will be a disappointment. Good quality product and good price.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
