Ideal for stock 1997 Honda Civic LX. The presence of copper gaskets made the replacement smooth. However, it's worth noting that the front hoses didn't match the aftermarket calipers I had. The calipers are too big, the bend of the front hose does not allow it. If you have custom calipers or rear drum cylinders, these hoses may not fit.

This product did not match what was advertised for the rear disc brakes when I bought them last year. I bought them and someone sent them to me in Trinidad and today when I tried to install them and opened the package I found I had useless steel braided drum brakes. I just got them a few weeks ago after my cousin sent them to me here in Trinidad from the US. This is so inconvenient as I cannot return them without paying an excessive amount to have them shipped back to us.

I gave the product 3 stars just because I didn't get what I expected. The front straps perfectly replaced my original brake lines. However, to my disappointment, the rear brake lines included in my kit were for a drum brake setup, so I couldn't use them on my disc brake setup. This was not the seller's fault as the item came in sealed Russell Performance packaging and even the Russell Performance website lists part number 684620 as the front washer and rear washer. I gave 4 stars because it's not quite perfect. Don't get me wrong, they are good quality and worked in the end, but the problem is that the end of the banjo that bolts to the front calipers has too sharp a bend to place it like I did imagine it and to fit near the caliper so you have to flip it over.
