great brake lines for hoses, lines and fittings

Great set of stainless steel braided brake lines for my 2002 Chevy Avalanche. They fit perfectly despite the fact that the description says they fit. The truck is basically a big Tahoe, or small commuter truck, and it turns out a lot of the parts are the same, including the brake hoses. Looks great and was easy to put on

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Very good quality hoses

These are very good quality brake hoses. They're not an exact foldable replacement for the Yukon, but if you know what you're doing, installation is easy enough. Note that this kit comes with a rear brake hose, not the Yukon's dual brake hose with stability control. The other four brake hoses fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Low repairability

fits 20050yukon xl 4x4 1500 good

it fits my yukon xl 4x4 1500 2005 well. I've read reviews where people said the front line is too short. The instructions say to route them differently than standard lines. Sure, an extra inch would be great, but they fit really well. I got rid of the spongy brake pedal on my infamous soft GM truck brakes. I would recommend these

Not suitable for Suburban 2500!

Will not fit Suburban 2500 although Revain says it will! The correct part number is Russell 672440 Silverado 2500/3500 Kit at http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DSWB46?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 I was smart enough to order both kits at the same time and now I will be making this one return the kit. I still give 5 stars because the product really improves the braking experience. After the first few millimeters of travel, the pedal is MUCH firmer than the stock pedal…

  • So far so good

Big improvement over stock

Installed these on my 2004 Z71 4x4 Tahoe. The construction looks and feels like premium Edelbrock/Russell. This is dirty work. I stuck old ear plugs into the hoses to slow the brake fluid dripping while I tightened the nuts. Get a good 14mm snap-on or GearWrench. My Craftsman nut wrench was thrown in the trash (it bends and starts rounding brake line nuts). The pedal feels crisp and feels more immediate. Before the exchange, there was a backlog. I did this job at 123,000 miles and the only…

Poor quality and be prepared to modify everything to fit

Stainless steel brake lines do not fit directly. actually you have to change something. cut and use old parts from old rubber brake lines to hold the wheel sensors. A hose will not fit the EOM GM brake line. These brake lines will work just fine. The quality of this brake line seems to have to cost around $35 at Walmrt. Its end connectors look extremely cheap and are designed for more versatile use. The reason why factory hoses don't use a round connector end, they use a block end so they don't

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
