Great option for the "home player "

So it's not a professional tool, but *IS* a real rock drill. Drilling 3/8" in hard, high aggregate concrete takes half as long as my Milwaukee M18 brushless hammer drill. Milwaukee is a GREAT drill/driver, lots of torque and the brushless motor is really efficient. , which means longer battery life. But while the Hammer setup drills the holes I need, the Ryobi definitely does a better job. A hole punch designed to use SDS(Plus) bits and punch holes in solids is clear. I wish the battery life…

Pros
  • Demolition Drills & Hammers
Cons
  • Expensive

Allows for quick work with rotary hammers

I bought this unit for half a dozen scheduled projects that required me to drill basic holes in concrete. This defiantly outperformed my old method of using my 1/4" impact drills and rock drills by buying a set of 3 for half a dozen holes. I bought a base set SDS/+ 1/4" - 3/. 4". Took this guy out of the box and got to work. Arrived quickly and intact, as expected, with just the bare tools. Good price, hard to find, a genuine SDS/+ punch for less than $100 with cord This tool is also very light

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Decent, but not for heavy industrial use

After more than a year of commercial and private use. For the sds plus impact drill I drilled 1" and 8" flag pole holes which required a 1" threaded rod filled with epoxy almost as good as my Bosh sds corded drill yes it did the job but didn't so quick.I will pull out this tool when I need to install some tapcons or anchors or drill a few holes as not having a cable is sometimes very helpful. The hammer only feature is useful but not as powerful as a corded hammer drill. I've used it with rebate

Pros
  • Power tools
Cons
  • I'll write later
