Sabrent 4K Dual HDMI Sharing Switch with 2 Ports (DA-HSW2) Review

My old Panasonic 50 inch flat screen has 2 HDMI ports. We currently use one for cable services and one for the Revain Firestick. We bought a DVD set for Christmas. DVD via our player, I had to physically change the connections (HDMI) on the back of the unit. I found this Sabrent 2-port switch that by pressing a button on the switch changes inputs from two connected sources, in this case a Firestick or Blueray player. This is a switch, it works well. During the day the LED lights up normally, but at night (dark office) it lights up brightly, which is ok. However, in this world of working from home (for computer geniuses), this is very convenient and works quite correctly for the main case. FWIW, it definitely doesn't work with Displayport (no real surprise, just clarification). Note: Since they have two LEDs, they make your life easier.

This item is perfect for playing. I use it with my desktop and laptop for multitasking. Honestly it's one of the best things to use, no power supplies, drivers, nothing, just plug in, press a button and you're done.

It's cheap, simple, small and supports HDMI 2.0, but it's slow - it takes me 20 seconds to switch between sources. I want all links to be on one page and work faster.

Dead is easy to use and extremely reliable. I got it so my main laptop and work laptop can use HDMI on my monitor. It requires no drivers and works flawlessly on both machines. I would even recommend it to my non-technical friends and that's saying a lot. :)

Simple solution to split HDMI connection. Allows me to use my computer and Xbox One without disconnecting the cable. Just press that magic blue button on your device and voila! Problem solved!

I keep getting flashes and black screens with it. I know 100% that this is the case because he doesn't do it with a straight cable. It's really frustrating.

Brand new, straight out of the box, did not work properly. Lines and artifacts appear all over the screen, tried many different new high speed HDMI cables, same result. Switched back to my old splitter, everything works fine. I waited too long to open and test it as I thought it would be reliable so I can't return it now. Stay away.
