$199 for a fixture that looks like it costs $1000's we are experienced DIY but it took 6 hours to install 115 crystal balls. Wires were attached so appreciate that because that saved use hours. If you hire a pro to do this it will cost many times the amount of the fixture. Much assembly required but worth it for such a beautiful chandelier!

I will preface this by saying the hardware needed to mount such a heavy chandelier was already there from the previous one. I also read a lot of the other reviews before I began my installation. Yep, marked the plate, drilled the holes, installed the anchors, lights, wires and crystals all by myself while standing on a 10 foot ladder. I am a healthy 56yr. old woman. Overall this was a decent purchase. The package contents were well labeled. Each crystal strand was in a reusable, numbered, plastic bag. If mounting to a flat ceiling, this is a breeze to install. Unfortunately I had to make it more challenging with a sloped ceiling.Once mounted, the process of assembly was extremely easy. I honestly found no problems with the fixture. Looking at the offset holes in the chrome faceplate was confusing at times but once lined up and attached it made sense.I read

It looks great on my 20ft ceiling living room! It took some patience and a scaffold to put together, but once you get the hang of what you are doing, it goes by quick. Took me about 6 hours to put together by myself. Overall a great product at a great price.

I have had this light for two years and it just exploded! The wires in the light popped and could have started a fire in my house! I would like to speak to someone about this! It was very scary
